Assist UK Newsletter
Assist UK produces a full colour A4 Newsletter at least 6 times a year (every other month) which covers topics such as:
- Events that we have run as Asssist UK
- Events that our members have run
- Upcoming events from Assist UK
- News from the office
- New and Upcoming Policies from the Government
- Any current jobs available at Assist UK
- and much much more...
The newsletter is put together by our IT & Communications Officer, Andy Taylor, so if you have a story you would like to submit to the newsletter please contact Andy by either e-mailing newsletter@assist-uk.org or by calling the office on 0870 770 2866.
Due to printing processes there are various requirements we try to meet in terms of the images supplied for use in the newsletter. Ideally we like to work from Hi-Resolution Images (300dpi minimum) which means if you are using a digital camera to ensure that the photos you take are on the highest possible quality from your camera. This will take up more room on your memory card but will produce much better results in print. If you are taking photos with a standard film camera then we prefer to receive and actual print as our scanner will then convert this to the required digital format we require. If you write your name and address on the reverse of any prints sent then we will do our best to return them once we have finished with them, however we cannot guarantee safe return of any photos sent so please ensure you have a copy if it is an image you wish to keep or use yourself.
