Making the Links Project
- Do you use disability equipment, or, do you look after someone who does?
- Do you think that the way equipment is designed and provided could be better?
- Would you like to know how services work in other parts of the country?
If your answer to any of the above questions is “yes!” then you should know more about two introductory meetings for the Making the Links Project.
Perhaps you are already part of an advisory group for your local community equipment service? The Making the Links meetings will give you an opportunity to share your experience with others and find out what happens elsewhere. If not, the introductory meetings would give you a chance to see what’s involved.
At Assist UK we want the way disability equipment is designed and provided to be influenced by those that use it, but we recognise that things vary from place to place. By bringing people together across the country we think we can create new opportunities to influence manufacturers and service providers.
A message from Maggie!
Hi Everyone!
I've just received some information about a meeting being arranged by the project team for Transforming Community Equipment Services (please see the flyer below).
I will be sending it out via all my contacts and networks ( so, apologies in advance if you receive it more than once) but please also pass it on to anyone else you think would want to attend.
If you'd like to go, please contact the person named on the flyer (not me!).
Maggie
